Monthly weekend pinball tournament at My Parents' Basement!

We're trying a slightly different strikes format this month. Rather than our normal 0/1/2/3 progressive strikes, we'll do 0/1/1/2 fair strikes.

Format: Fair strikes knockout.
Play in 3 or 4-player groups for between 0 and 2 strikes each round.
After you've accumulated 8 strikes, you're eliminated from the future rounds (everyone plays at least 4 rounds).

Groups of four: 1st - 0 strikes; 2nd & 3rd - 1 strike; 4th - 2 strikes.
Groups of three: 1st - 0 strikes; 2nd - 1 strike; 3rd - 2 strikes.
Groups of two: 1st - 0 strikes; 2nd - 2 strikes.

You'll be paired with players with a similar record after the first round (Swiss pairings). Final standings are determined by strikes and elimination order; no finals.

The games will be on their normal settings of either $1 per play or 3 plays for $2.

Tournament Director reserves the option to accelerate strikes or declare a sudden death final game due to time constraints once 4 or fewer players remain, but we typically play out the full event.
